“Project Collaboration via Private Cloud in Action” will showcase the SAIC case study.
BUFFALO, NY – July 8, 2013 – Chris France from Advance2000, along with SAIC Managing Director of BIM & Technologies Joseph Joseph, will present at the North American 2013 Revit Technology Conference, held at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, Canada from July 11-13.
Joseph oversees the full business and strategic implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM), cloud, and mobile technologies within the design and construction business at SAIC. France and Joseph’s presentation, “Project Collaboration via Private Cloud in Action” will showcase the SAIC case study and success story of Advance2000 cloud technology and its application to one of SAIC’s design and construction projects.
Design and construction teams are finding today that projects are becoming increasingly complex and that teams are distributed. This case study will describe how 20 design and construction personnel, located in various states across the country, worked together for the first time in real-time to deliver a large, intricate project. Revit Technology attendees will come away learning how to recognize potential problems and the need for real-time collaboration. The presentation will highlight cloud best practices for coordinating several firms as well as practical issues that need to be addressed for successful cloud collaboration.
